Bonanza

In the officially licensed 2011 Anthology for the Bonanza Round Up Convention you can find 3 of my Bonanza stories. For fans of the show, I write my stories with all 4 Cartwrights, including Ben, Adam, Hoss and Little Joe. My stories included in this collection are "The Cattle Drive" and "Snowed In" and "Join the Club." Each story has a different flavor. "The Cattle Drive" is a more serious story in which the 3 boys are off on a cattle drive, dealing with rustlers, a swollen river and robbers. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Ben is entertaining the territorial governor in Virginia City on railroad business. At the same time, Ben is falling for the wrong woman. "Snowed In," by contrast, is more of a humorous story, set during a heavy snowfall which has the Cartwrights homebound. During this time, Joe and Hoss scheme to get Adam's goat as pranks are played all around. In the third story, "Join the Club," Ben has (again) brought home a fiance, one much younger than himelf, one only a couple of years older than Adam. When she meets the boys, she finds she has feelings for Adam. Look for this anthology in September of 2011 available from the Round Up.
