Don't expect earth-shaking news, as my life is generally mundane. But for those who'd like to keep up . . . here's what's new with me.

My Latest News "flash"...

Cover of Darkness, from Sam's Dot Publishing just came out in December. My tale, "The Bone Church" is the lead short story! It's a dark fantasy tale about unrest among the dead and the things that wake them.

I just sold a zombie story (yep--another one) to an upcoming anthology titled "Through the Eyes of the Undead." Not sure what the expected publication date is, but I'm stoked. My story is told from the pov of a zombie coroner. Yep, my zombies have jobs. They aren't the usual homeless, brain-eating types.

Strip Mauled, the anthology edited by Esther Freisner just came out in October, 2009, so it can be found in bookstores everywhere. So find my werewolf in suburbia story there. My werewolf is looking for love among furry fandom. Hey, where better to find someone with a fur fetish?

And I sold another story to Esther Freisner for her upcoming anthology, Fangs for the Mammories, which will be humorous stories of vampires living in suburbia. This one is due out in 2010. My story deals with a vampire who's a model citizen and coffin model by day, only to find out a monster hunter has moved into the neighborhood.

And The Phantom Queen Awakes should be out anyday now.

And In Older News...

March has been a great month! Two anthologies containing my stories have come out in print...Dragons Composed from Kerlak Publishing and Magic & Mechanica from Ricasso Press. You can find links to both on the Fantasy Publications Page or the page of my Complete List of Publications.

The new year is starting out great for me!  Even though the email was dated Monday, I only received the news this morning--so Happy New Years to me!  I sold my story "The Silver Branch" to the anthology The Phantom Queen Awakes to be published in October by Morrigan Books out of England.  I'm very excited!  An international sale!

The anthology will be a collection of stories set in ancient Celtic times and deal with the Three-part goddess The Morrigan, aka "the Phantom Queen."
